The Council is currently seeking to recruit experienced and dynamic team-player for the above position.
The position will supervise and control the development, maintenance and upkeep of the city parks and gardens, landscaping and vegetation management. The incumbent will oversee the maintenance and use of all parks and reserves, play-fields and courts including the decoration of halls and the city for celebrations and special occasions.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma in Horticulture or relevant field.
- At least 7 to 8 years of progressive experience in a similar position with good leadership and management skills.
- Possesses well developed passion, appreciation and vision in aesthetics and beautifications.
- Excellent planning, landscape/garden designing and management skills.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Valid group 2 driving license (Group 6 will be an advantage).
