Industrial Attachment Program

The Suva City council offers attachment placements for students in a dynamic local government environment. Students have the opportunity to gain valuable work experience in a diverse range of professional streams at the Council.

Our program helps students meet their educational requirements, develop and enhance their skills and knowledge while being exposed to the ‘real’ world of work. Over the years the Council has engaged several institutions on these industrial attachments such as the National University of Fiji, the University of the South Pacific and Fulton College.

Our Recruitment Policy

The Council offers job opportunities both in the established and un-established environment. How To Apply

For un-established positions, the selection process involves completing an application form which can be downloaded here or picked up physically at the HR section on the Ground Floor, Administration Building, 196 Victoria Parade, Suva and, if you are short-listed, you will be requested to attend an interview.

For established or permanent staff positions, jobs will be advertised in the local print media. A formal application letter will need to be submitted. We do not accept CVs as formal applications for employment. If you are short-listed, you will be requested to attend an interview. We operate an equal opportunities policy.
