The Suva City Council can confirm it has initiated maintenance work at Albert Park in Suva, leading to its temporary closure. This is part of the Council’s ongoing commitment to maintaining its facilities to the highest standards.
During this period, the park grounds will remain closed to the public; however, the pavilion will remain accessible for use. Facility bookings will be assessed on a case-by-case basis to minimize any disruption to scheduled activities.
The Council will provide further updates regarding the reopening of Albert Park once the maintenance works are completed.
SCC appreciates the public’s understanding and cooperation as it works to enhance the Park for the benefit of all users.
