Mosquito Island – Picnic Spot
The Suva City Council also hires out the Nukumaroriko Island aka Mosquito Island for picnics and other functions. The island itself is an Eco-friendly island. Located beside the NOVOTEL Hotel a kilometer drive out of Lami town, the island is an ideal spot for a weekend getaway but is available all year around. However, prior bookings would have to be made to ensure availability.
