The Suva City Council would like to address the video circulating on social media showcasing roof leakage at Suva Bus Stand Terminal 2 last week.
The Council would first like to reassure the public that the safety and comfort of commuters remain our top priority.
Maintenance work was already underway at Suva Bus Stand Terminal 1 when the incident occurred, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused by the leakage. Immediate repairs are being conducted to prevent a recurrence of such events at the Suva Bus Terminal. Our maintenance team is working diligently to rectify the issue and ensure that the bus stand remains a safe and dry environment for all passengers. The progress of the maintenance works has been delayed by the recent weather conditions.
